Good to know #
- Switch bookings on first: the form only takes bookings after you switch on Accept bookings on the website in Reservations → Settings. Until then the form tells visitors that online booking is not available.
- Own layout: copy a file from the plugin’s
templatesfolder towxp-restaurant-reservations/in your (child) theme, and give its name totemplate. - Showing the code in a page: WordPress runs shortcodes everywhere in the content, also inside code blocks. To show a shortcode as text, write it with double brackets, like in this guide.
