Seats held while paying
A reservation holds its seats for as long as WooCommerce holds stock. Unpaid ones are released and the order is cancelled.
Paid means confirmed
When the order is paid, the reservation is confirmed and the guest and the venue get their e-mails. Events with approval wait for you.
Refunds free the seats
A cancelled or refunded order cancels the reservation, so the seats are free again. Paid or waiting shows in the reservations list, with a link to the order.
Hidden ticket products
One hidden WooCommerce product per event, not in your shop or the search results and set to noindex. A repeating event needs no extra products.

WXP Local Events for WooCommerce
Can a guest cancel a paid reservation?
Not with the link in the e-mail. You cancel the reservation and refund the order in WooCommerce. A cancelled or refunded order frees the seats again.
What happens when a guest does not pay?
The reservation holds its seats for as long as WooCommerce holds stock (the setting Hold stock, in minutes; 60 minutes when it is empty). After that the seats are free again and the unpaid order is cancelled.
Do I need WooCommerce?
Yes. The add-on sends guests to the WooCommerce checkout, so WooCommerce 8.0 or newer must be installed and active, with your payment methods set up. Payment methods, taxes and coupons all stay WooCommerce settings.
